'Please stop watching... it's filth': Two and a Half Men star Angus T Jones' extraordinary outburst in religious

Two and A Half Men star Angus T Jones has branded his hit show 'filth' and urged fans to turn off in an extraordinary religious rant.
The 19-year-old - who makes $350,000 per episode playing Jake - is featured in a new video for the Forerunner Chronicles.
In Angus Jones Testimony, he says: 'If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching. I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it.'

His comments are likely to attract ire from the show's co-creator Chuck Lorre and his bosses at Warner Brothers, who are yet to comment.
The teen's outburst continued: 'Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment.
'Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television and especially with what you watch on television ... it's bad news.'

'You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't.
'I'm not OK with what I'm learning, what the bible says and being on that television show.'
Jones gives his testimony sitting with a representative of The Forerunner Chronicles in his trailer on the Warner studio lot, where his series is filmed.

GOAL of the Century by Z. Ibrahimovic and Highlights of Sweden Vs England friendly 2012

S4-2E www.fasthighlights.com by fasthighlights-2013

WOW!!! is just the word to the describe Zlatan Ibrahimovic's 4th Goal.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal like 'a video game', says Sweden coach.

Speaking after his four-goal exploits in Solna, Ibrahimovic commented on his reputation by saying: "That's the way it is with the English. If you score against them you're a good player, if you don't score against them you're not a good player.
"I remember Lionel Messi before the 2009 Champions League final for Barcelona...Then he scored against Manchester United and suddenly he was the best player in the world. Maybe now they'll say something like that about me.
"Hart was a long way out and I was just trying to get it into the goal. I was on the ground when it was on the way in.
"I saw a defender sliding in to try to get rid of it and I wanted to scream 'No' but the ball went in."
An example of Ibrahimovic's trademark confidence came in the build-up to the friendly. When asked to grade his international career while on the cusp of receiving his 100th cap, England captain Steven Gerrard responded: "Six or seven."
In contrast, when posed with the same question on Wednesday night, Ibrahimovic replied without hesitation: "Ten."

George Entwistle resigns as BBC director

via BBC

The BBC's director general, George Entwistle, has resigned in the wake of the Newsnight child abuse broadcast.
In a statement given outside New Broadcasting House, Mr Entwistle said: "I have decided that the honourable thing to do is to step down."
Earlier, Mr Entwistle said the Newsnight report, which wrongly implicated ex-senior Tory Lord McAlpine should never have been broadcast.
The broadcast covered cases of child abuse at north Wales care homes.
Mr Entwistle took up the post of director general on 17 September.
In his statement, he said: "In the light of the fact that the director general is also the editor in chief and ultimately responsible for all content, and in the light of the unacceptable journalistic standards of the Newsnight film broadcast on Friday 2 November, I have decided that the honourable thing to do is to step down from the post of director general."
'Great honour'
He said that when he was appointed to the role, he was confident BBC trustees had chosen the best candidate for the post and the "right person to tackle the challenges and opportunities ahead".

African Teenagers Develop Pee-Powered Generator, Debut Device At Nigerian Innovation Fair

This is not your average science project.
A quartet of African teens have developed a generator that runs on urine. The talented young scientists -- Duro-Aina Adebola, Akindele Abiola and Faleke Oluwatoyin, all 14, and Bello Eniola, 15 -- debuted their pee-powered contraption at Maker Faire Africa in Lagos, Nigeria, CNET reports.

Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which cracks the urea into nitrogen, water, and hydrogen. The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder. The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which is used to remove the moisture from the hydrogen gas. This purified hydrogen gas is pushed into the generator ... 1 Liter of urine gives you 6 hours of electricity.
In order to cut down on the explosive risks associated with hydrogen, the team used one-way valves, although CNET pointed out it there might still be some danger involved.
Power generators are in far greater demand in Africa than in the United States, Forbes points out. Despite being Nigeria's urban center and wealthiest city, Lagos experiences frequent power outages, according to Time.
While definitely innovative in principal, pee power may not be efficient on a larger scale, NBC News reports.
“It is a high school project, so don’t take it [so seriously],” Gerardine Botte, a chemical engineer at Ohio University who invented the urea electrolysis process, told NBC.
Botte suggested the students "work with an engineer to understand the technology and its appropriate applications" -- which, in her opinion, is "as a way to make the wastewater treatment process more energy efficient."
Either way, the teens' project has gotten scientists talking, and that's a good thing, according to Next Web's Emil Protalinski.

Timi Dakolo - Great Nation [Official Video] #Nigeria

The eagerly anticipated video to Timi Dakolo’s awe-inspiring classic, Great Nation is out! The song widely considered as one of the most inspiring African- produced pieces of all time has repeatedly left audiences spell bound after every performance.

From the closing ceremony of the 2011 National Sports festival in Port Harcourt through the Future Awards (where the video was premiered) to the Headies and countless other events, Timi’s powerful rendition easily penetrates the hearts and inspires the minds of Nigerians of all generations, backgrounds and creed.

Great Nation inspires a sense of patriotism in uncommon proportions and offers something to believe in, a great reason to be proud of one’s “Nigerianess” and a belief that indeed, greatness is within our grasp. Released by Lone Records/ Now Muzik and directed by the multi-award winning Clarence Peters, the video will hit TV platforms by the end of the week.

Timi expressed his happiness with the release of the video thus: “I am delighted that the Great Nation video has finally been delivered and the feedback so far has been wonderful. It was a very challenging exercise, believe me. The process of agreeing on the best treatment for the video to a song of this magnitude in terms of importance was rigourous. Everyone had a bright idea about how it should be visually interpreted but once we started the shoot, everything progressed fluidly. I’m particularly grateful to my friends – and firm believers in the Nigeria project who formed the cast, Clarence and his crew, Cobhams Asuquo, Joan Ekpai, Olaitan Dada and everybody that made this a success. This is indeed, a watershed moment!.”

Timi is currently preparing for ‘The Evening’, a fund raising concert for people living with disabilities, scheduled for the 17th of November at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya.”

via Vanguard

The Williams sisters, Venus and Serena Wednesday put paid to insinuations that they were from Nigeria, when they said that they were proud to be American citizens.

Speaking at the Federal Palace Hotel, Venus, in a response to a question on their true origin, said that while they love Nigeria, the fact was that they were from the United States of America.

“This is another country that we would love to come from but we are from the United States and are proud to be from there as well”, said Venus

On their mother’s decision to name their late sister, Yetunde, after a Nigerian, Venus said that it was because of the mum’s love for Africa.

“My mum named my late sister after an Africa name because she loves Africa and that is all to it”, she said.
